Clermont, an “included town” within the borders of Indianapolis near Eagle Creek Reservoir, has maintained a small town atmosphere despite its proximity to the big city. CAP:IC students worked with a stakeholder committee of residents and business owners to envision short-term improvements they could make and long-term efforts they could champion with the goal of reinforcing and strengthening the quality of life and economic viability of the community. The resulting story includes a focus on building multi-modal connections, strengthening and expanding the historic village center, and developing a branding identity for the town.
